Say goodbye to wooden pencil,i had stop writting with pencil after entered high school,the only time i using wooden pencil would be drawing.And i hate drawing alots,because anything i drawn look horribe,thats why i hate wooden pencil too.I still remember the wrtting with pencil is really troublesome,because i need to sharpen it with a sharpener,and everytime the carbon stick just keep breaking,it was so annoying.But the good thing of writting with wooden pencil is that i can do correction with eraser,and look really neat after all.

Original take on the theme. I haven't used pencils in a long time.
I use pencils for some checking on documents that shouldn't have any marks on. So I can erase them after. But I like what they call mechanical pencil with very small point.
I am surprised that pencils aren't extinct yet. Usually when something better comes along the old is pushed to the wayside. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice weekend. Happy Photo Hunt~
great idea for this theme. i ws thinking long and hard for my post never thinking of the pencils in my home hahahahahhahaha
I like pencils... BUT I hate having to sharpen endless of them for my kids!!! heeheee..

I have to agree, I've never been a big fan of wooden pencils, I did, and still do, use mechanical pencils. The wooden leads would scratch against the paper as I wrote and just give me the whillies.

To get rid of wood in pencils is generally a good idea - less waste of trees.

That sharpening thing is exactly why I use mechanical pencils: plus they draw a finer point.
I love writing with pencils - I make so much mess that using pens leaves me with ink over my hands, and I can write quicker with pencils. But no-one else can read what I write! :)
Oh yes, how could we forget the pencil??? I used it a lot when I was younger... great take on this week's theme!
